"What a Wonderful World/Somewhere over the Rainbow" by Isreal Kamakawiwo'ole plays in my mind on repeat lately. Hollin makes us laugh and smile constantly and always puts us in a better mood.
Late thanks to my finally purschased birthday present - I have a new camera so you'll be seeing even more Hollin pictures (when I have time to upload them), but need to learn how to use it! Our baby girl is moving so fast that the camera still can't capture all her firsts! At 10 months, Hollin's new favorite activity is to push and walk behind her strolling lion and jazzy walker - probably not good for her true walking skills but she loves it! She has two teeth on bottom and one about to break through on top and loves to eat strawberries. She officially said her first recognizable word, "Rj" (of course) and can say "Dada," "Mmmama," "Hi," "Yeah" and will shake her little pointer finger when I say "no, no, no" - I have a hard time keeping a stern tone when she does that... Hollin loves her Jungle toy with its songs and balls, starts to dance when she hears good music, cracks up laughing at almost anything, cheers up when I sing the titsy bitsy spider or make animal noises, and can be entertained by Sprouts or Disney Channel for a solid 5 minutes. We introduced her to what we call "Cabby," her crab shaped baby pool, but it didn't go over well with colder than preferred water - luckily round two was a success. I can't believe it's already summer. Time flies when your having a wonderful time!

On Thursday, May 23rd, Hilda Hollingsworth Whitson returned to The Lord. She was a wonderful woman and made this world a brighter, more loving place. She will be greatly missed.
