So "The Whitson Way" will be used to post pictures as our little family starts to grow. And as my sister has discovered, it is an easy scrap book to print each year! Forgive my lack of story telling abilities and wittiness, but I hope you will enjoy the pictures of our soon-to-be arriving Baby W!
Not too sure how to start a "blog" but here goes!
I celebrated my 30th Birthday early with my dear friend Beggs! Jared and I joined friends in Puerta Vallerta, Mexico in October 2011 for an amazing vacation filled with beautiful scenary, incredible drinks and cuisine and an adventurous zip lining tour. We also brought home a true blessing for a "souvenir!"
The first weekend in November, we headed to Midland to celebrate sweet Carson's 3rd birthday party. I will never forget waking up early that Saturday morning to find out I was truly pregnant! What an amazing feeling knowing that I was about to be a MOM! Now, keeping this a secret for the rest of the weekend was a challege!
While I was nervous to tell Jared, I knew he was going to make such a good DAD!!
So we are driving home from Midland when I couldn't keep it in any longer. I think my story to Jared went something like "You know how I am right about 99% of the time, but when I am wrong I always admit to it? Well, I was wrong about something pretty big... I didn't think it was possible for us to get pregnant so quickly... we are having a baby!" Thank you Lord for watching over us and not letting Jared drive off the road!!! And of course being thrilled, Jared said "I'm going to be a Dad!!"
