California Love

Last stop in California - Pebble Beach!! Beautiful! Jill and I had such a great time walking the beaches and golf courses, shopping around in Carmel and driving up the coastline. And I think the boys loved their golfing rounds too...

 

We had such a wonderful trip, and it was hard to get back to reality - but we sure missed our little Miss Hollin!

Red, Red Wine

Second stop on California trip - Sonoma!  Ahhh... The wine country, aka God's country!  So amazingly beautiful.  We rented a house on Moon Mountain overlooking Louis Martin and Repris vineyards.  We had such great experiences at each place we visited.

First day, we went to the oldest family run vineyard in Sonoma, Gundlach Bundschu, then dinner at Glen Ellen Inn.  Next day, Lonnie, our wonderful driver, set up the day with private tastings at Robert Hunter, B Wise (with a complete house inside their cave), lunch at VJB's, then last stop, Repris, our neighbor on Moon Mountain.  A little wined out, we explored the town on the last day, tasting at Petroni and then grilled out and enjoyed the views!!
